Disaster Relief For Hurricane Helene

We are asking for donations for disaster relief for all of District-I. We will be supplying cleaning equipment (shovels, rakes, gloves etc) and cleaning supplies. ( bleach, rages, bins etc) to the residents. We will also be suppling food and other supplies as needed. This is a very expensive undertaking and all funds collected will be used for disaster relief in Southwest Florida for all of District-I.

Dear Lions Club Officer,

The annual meeting for the installation of club officers is a long-time Lions club tradition, usually held as the first meeting of the new fiscal year. It is a celebratory event that is an opportune time for a club to express gratitude, honorably transfer authority and responsibility, recognize club members and celebrate the club’s service! You may also use this occasion to acknowledge community members and recognize long-time members. To further assist you, download your copy of the Club Officer Installation Ceremony guide today. This guide also provides helpful tips in the areas of:

  • Officiator of the Installation Ceremony
  • Seating for a Formal Installation
  • Scripts for Installation of Directors and Officers
  • Logistics
  • Promotions
  • Formal Set Up
  • And much more

Help the newly elected officers prepare for next year by reviewing the Club Excellence Award (2024-2025 applications will be available July 1), Club Quality Initiative and MISSION 1.5. Each of these programs are a tool for a road map to success and to help clubs achieve excellence.

In addition, it’s never too early to start planning for next year. Be sure your incoming club president, secretary and treasurer are aware of the training courses available for their roles in the Lions Learning Center (LLC).

Encourage Lion and Leo members in your club to apply for the 2024-2025 Lions International Institutes available for your constitutional area. To see when your area’s institute is being held, visit the Lions International calendar today.

Looking for ways to recognize your members’ achievements? Visit the Lions Shop for awards, certificates and much more to help make your Installation Ceremony one to remember.

Take the time to explore the new Lions Heritage Collection in the Lions Shop. Our newest collection features timeless styles that stand out no matter where or how you serve. View this new collection now.

Finally, we are here to assist you. If you have any questions, please contact us by phone at (630) 468-7084 or by email at clubofficers@lionsclubs.org.

Sincerely,

Your District and Club Administration Division Team
